CompuClean^® Seminar, Maumee, OH Oct 19-20, 2009

Spartan Chemical Company, Inc. hosted 17 licensed CompuClean users for a 2-day CompuClean 9.5 Custodial Maintenance Management Software training course, October 19 -20. The seminar covered the entire CompuClean software program, from Workloading to Quality Assurance to Capital Equipment Management and more. Users learned how to manage all aspects of their custodial operations with CompuClean. In addition, a sneak peek of CompuClean version 10 was introduced showing off the big changes and redesigned CompuClean version for 2010.

CompuClean^® Online Training

CompuClean online training is a new and exciting part of Spartan's continued commitment to provide unsurpassed support and training to all of our licensed CompuClean users.

Online training is available at no cost to all licensed CompuClean accounts. The online training program consists of 10 distinct sessions, covering different CompuClean topics arranged in a progressively more advanced order. Two sessions are held monthly.

The online format is a great way to get the CompuClean training that you need from the comfort of your office. We offer an interactive environment with live question and answer capabilities. You will also be able to download a video version of each seminar that you attend.

University of Georgia Achieves ISSA CIMS Certification with CompuClean

Congratulations to the University of Georgia for attaining ISSA CIMS certification with honors for their Green Corridor. The UGA Physical Plant staff, in conjunction with their Spartan distributor, Athens Janitor Supply, created a green cleaning program for the UGA campus and utilized a number of features within CompuClean to attain the
certification. CompuClean's workloading deatures were able to play a key role in documenting the custodial program at UGA. Other features of CompuClean the integrate well with CIMS include Quality Assurance, Inventory Management and Capital Equipment Management.

Key accomplishments of the UGA CIMS effort include:

• Reduction of the number of janitorial chemicals used on campus from over 300 to 3.
• Implementation of a two week training academy for custodial employees.
